The Tennessee Titans had been looking for the vintage Chris Johnson for almost two thirds their season, and it appears that they have finally found him. After rushing for 153 yards against Buffalo last week, Johnson has rushed for 100 yards in three out of the last four games. A telling statistic here is that the Titans have won each game he has ran for a 100 yards or more.
After a field goal by Tennessee on their opening drive, C.J. Spiller and Chris Johnson exchanged long touchdown runs leaving the Titans ahead 10-7. Johnson was able to add another touchdown in the second quarter putting Tennessee the up 10. With Johnson running as well as he is right now there is no reason why the Titans cannot make the playoffs with their solid defense and veteran quarterback, Matt Hasselbeck at the helm.
Tennessee coasted to a win in the second half, moving their record to (7-5), tying them with four other teams in AFC. These last four games will be pivotal for those five teams who will be looking for a playoff spot. The Titans will start that four game stretch at home next week against the red hot New Orleans Saints. The Saints have been humiliating teams as of late, but expect the Titans to give them all that they have, and do not be surprised if they pull out the upset.
