Tennessee Keeps their Playoff Hopes Alive

After a very disappointing loss to the Indianapolis Colts the week before, the Titans came back with a victory against Jacksonville.  Tennessee started the game with a field goal and a 55 yard touchdown pass to Jared Cook. Giving the Titans an early 10-0 lead. Matt Hasselbeck has had an up and down year, and last weeks game was no different where he looked great at times, but also was the victim of two interceptions.

The Jaguars were able to answer Cook’s touchdown, with one of their on a Jones-Drew run. Tennessee was able to get another touchdown before the half, before allowing a field goal from the Jaguars. At 17-10, all Tennessee had to do was play good defense in the second half, to knock off the Jaguars and their hideous offense led by rookie QB Blaine Gabbert. The Titans were able to hold Jacksonville to a single touchdown while, adding two field goals of their own.

The 23-17 win means everything for the Titans. For Tennessee to make the playoffs, they will need lots of help. First they will have to win their game in Houston, and get a loss from the Bengals and the Jets and the Broncos and Raiders. Their playoff hopes are slim, but crazier things have happened before.

One of the best ways to display your Tennessee Titans pride is to display Tennessee Titans Flags.  Check out flagdom.com for a great selection of all types of flags.
