Titans Scour the Waiver Wire for Defensive Lineman

With the Titans defensive lineman dropping like flies, they were forced to give a thorough review of every waived and released defensive lineman in the NFL to try and field a complete defensive line that won’t be a huge liability in week one. This comes as a result of injuries to both starting defensive tackles, Jurrell Casey and Sen’Derrick Marks. Additionally, the Titans reserve DE/DT Leger Douzable was placed on the season Injured Reserve (IR) with a shoulder injury.

The Titans didn’t make any waiver claims, but they are giving a good look at the former Green Bay Packer, Jarius Wynn. Wynn played in all 16 games for the Packers last season and had a total of 19 tackles and 3 sacks, his natural position is DE. He obviously isn’t the type of player who will transform the Titans defensive line, but he is serviceable, battle tested, and likely the best option available.
